This book is the first publication of a scholarly and epistolary legacy of Andriy Franko (1887-1913), Ivan Franko’s son, secretary and assistant in his creative work. The book begins with a thorough preface, depicting the life and creative work of the Franko’s firstborn: the hitherto unknown circumstances of his christening are clarified, as well as his coming of age, education, active and stable assistance for his father and other family members. For the first time, the family correspondence with Andriy Franko as a sender and an addressee was collected.

The book is illustrated with valuable memorial photos, some of them being published for the first time.
