An original guidebook around touristic Lviv region, with the main traveler character and the guide being… Ivan Franko himself!

The publication is the first reprint of a unique copy of Ivan Franko’s poetical chronicle On the road! signed by participants of a famous student trip of 1884, stored at the Ivan Franko National Literary-Memorial Museum in Lviv. The book also contains a forgotten article by Franko Top of Pikui, a little-known memoir of Taras Franko about his father as a traveler, practical tips for tourists as well as some interesting facts.

The publication is dedicated to renovation of the memorial sign on top of Mount Pikui, put up to Ivan Franko’s 165th anniversary, and is addressed not only to experts in the field of Franko studies, museum studies or tourism, but also to all travel and healthy lifestyle lovers.
